Scout is a disabled, queer writer and UOW Creative Arts alumni, who strongly advocates for ‘invisible’ disability awareness, exploring these themes within their writing. Scout is also currently working on a disabled-centred, sensory-friendly screenplay.

Spencer Barberis

Co-Founder and Managing Editor


Spencer is a queer, neurodivergent writer and mental health peer worker living on Wiradjuri land. He actively supports and promotes disabled and neurodiverse voices within the Australian literary community, and is a vocal mental health advocate. His writing has been featured in Admissions Anthology, Overland, and APJ.

Ygraine Heloise

Assistant Editor

Ygraine is a neurodivergent and queer writer, editor, and artist living on Gundungurra Land. She was the illustrator and co-editor of Queer as Fiction, published by Spineless Wonders in 2021, and was also the editorial assistant for Mantle, published by South Coast Writers Centre in 2022. She currently studies Creative Writing at UOW, and enjoys tea, taking care of her succulents, and adding to her growing list of books to read.
